Nestled in a park along Marsh Lake and France avenue is the Bloomington Archery Range. The Bloomington archery range underwent a grand renovation in 2017 to create a safer, more accessible and equitable archery experience.
The range offers both Olympic and gaming targets at various distances between 10 yards and 70 meters at 18 different stations. The archery range is free to the public and open year round.
Season: Open Year-Round
Hours: Opens 1/2 hour before sunrise. Closes at dusk. (range is outdoors and is not illuminated)
Cost: Free
Ages: Open to all ages. Archers under 16 must have adult supervision.
Equipment: Archers must bring own equipment. Rental equipment is not available, but private group programs are available. Submit a private group inquiry.
Reservations: Marsh Lake Archery Range and/or individual bales are not available for reservations. The range periodically hosts archery events and programs, closing the range to the public on those days and times. Archery program information can be found on the Youth Programs page.
NOTE: Broadhead arrows are prohibited at all times.
