Parks and Recreation offers a wide variety of adult sports leagues and programs throughout the year. The sports are offered at different levels of play; there is a sport for everyone from beginners to serious players. General information including registration is listed below. General registration information
There are four ways to register for your adult sports league! You must pay in full at the time of registration. Payments may be made with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, check or cash. Please see your respective sports information page for information regarding fees, registration periods, transfers and deadlines.

- In person. Visit Civic Plaza during business hours (M - F from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)

League Standings and Schedules
Get into the sport of archery during this six-week pilot program offered by the City of Bloomington.
- Where: Marsh Lake Archery Range, 9401 France Avenue South
- When: Tuesdays, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m., April 29 - June 3, 2025

Teams play a ten week regular season schedule and a single elimination playoff. All games will be officiated by two officials. Games are played five versus five. All participants must be 18 years of age or older.
- Days: Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
- Dates: December 1, 2024 - March 15, 2025
- Playoffs: Through end of March
- Resident Fee: $620 per team
- Non-Resident Fee: $645 per team

Three Rivers Park District, in partnership with the City of Bloomington, offers a variety of golf instruction opportunities aimed at beginner adult (and youth) golfers at Hyland Greens Golf Course, 10100 Normandale Blvd.

Grab your friends and join us for a blast from your gym class past with our kickball league! Co-Rec teams will play a ten game regular season, with a single elimination playoff with officials and bases. League fees includes: kickball (1 per team), scheduling of a field, game officials and league championship prizes.

INDOOR PICKLEBALL
Indoor pickleball is returning to Bloomington. It will be available at the Bethany Gym, 6900 West 115th Street from October 14, 2024 through March 15, 2025.

SUMMER LEAGUE PLAY
2025 Summer Pickleball Leagues
The pickleball league allows players to schedule matches on their time in an environment that allows both casual and competitive play. Doubles leagues play Thursdays for 8 weeks at Westwood Park. Levels include Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.

In partnership with City of Edina, grab your skates and join the 4-on-4 Adult Pond Hockey League!
League offers competitive and recreational divisions.
Games are scheduled on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

The City of Bloomington offers adult softball leagues in summer, fall and winter for all levels of play, almost every day of the week! Games are played at Valley View and Dred Scott parks.

We offer Singles and Doubles leagues at a variety of ability levels for all genders. Leagues run June through August and take place at a Valley View and Dred Scott parks in Bloomington.

Learn the basics or master your serve! We offer beginner and intermediate levels of instruction In partnership with USTA Northern. Beginner participants will receive a new tennis racquet with registration.

Volleyball is offered on sand during the summer and indoors in fall and winter. We offer officiated Women's, Co-Rec and Open leagues for the fall and winter seasons. We offer self-officiated Co-rec sand leagues are offered in the summer. Each season offers leagues with different levels of play to allow participants to choose the level of competition that suits their team. Please see designation definitions at the bottom of this section.
Winter Indoor League 2025

Gold Leagues:
Bloomington’s highest level of play, intended for teams seeking a competitive volleyball experience; additionally, players must have the ability to accurately call fouls on themselves.
Silver Leagues:
Leagues intended for teams who desire a moderately competitive, recreational volleyball experience.
Bronze Leagues:
A fun and recreational volleyball experience with a limited level of competition.
Open League:
No gender restrictions. Completely open league for any/all players.

- The Free Agent list is for people who are new to the area, out of practice or who don't have their own teammates.
- We will use this list to help place you on a team that needs players.
- You will stay on this list for the calendar year.
- Sign up is free, all you need is an account!
Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy
- Full refunds will be processed if the league your team is registered for is canceled by Parks and Recreation due to lack of teams.
- Prorated refunds will be processed if scheduled games are canceled and make up dates are not available due to unavailable facilities.
- Teams will receive a full refund less a $50 service charge if your team withdraws at least 3 weeks before the start of play.
- Refunds will not be processed if your team withdraws less than 3 weeks before the start of play or if your team is removed from the league due to disciplinary action.
In order to be considered a resident team, 75% of the team members must reside or work in the City of Bloomington.
In the event of inclement weather, the following procedures will take place:
- The league director will determine if the games are to be played on that evening and update the weather line by 4 p.m.
- The decision will be recorded on the weather line at 952-563-8878 option 1.
- If inclement weather occurs after 4 p.m. staff will update the weather line as timely as possible but games could also be called at the fields.
