Normandale Lake Park features a bandshell which historically has hosted as many as 35 events annually. The bandshell is often used for City of Bloomington Arts in the Parks programs but may also be available for private rental. 

IMPORTANT NOTE

As of January 1, 2025, Normandale Lake Park and the Normandale Lake Bandshell are under the management of Three Rivers Park District. Bandshell Details

The bandshell was designed by Foundation Architects / Consultants P.A. in the spring of 2001. It is located on the north side of Normandale Lake and can accommodate crowds from 100 to over 5,000 spectators.

Amenities include a covered, 53 x 35-foot stage; sound and lighting system; meeting room; dressing rooms; and public restrooms on the exterior of the building. Restrooms are open year-round for use by walkers and joggers.
