To increase equity of access and improve ease of registration for Summer Adventure Playgrounds and Camp Kota programs, Parks and Recreation offers a lottery enrollment system.

The lottery operates online via the WebTrac system and selects participants for enrollment through a random assignment process called the lottery spin. The lottery system has a new feature this year called “Linked Lottery Enrollment” which enables families to choose to enroll kids in the same household together rather than as separate enrollments.

“Using the lottery enrollment system increases access and fairness, so everyone has an equal chance of getting a spot in a program,” said Recreation Supervisor Jenna Smith.

Lottery registration opens March 27, 9 a.m., and closes April 3, 4 p.m. The lottery drawing will be announced April 4 by 12 p.m. All lottery enrollments will be notified via email on the day of the drawing. Those selected in the lottery will have one week to complete payment to finalize program registration.
