During the Quick Cut Workshop, youth participants visualize what letters look like and freely cut them out of the material being used. 

This employs a collage technique of cutting letters out of colored paper, fabric or other 2D materials without drawing or rendering the letters first. 

This conceptual exercise uses the scissors (or other cutting tool) as the pencil.
