Quickut™ participants are asked to visualize what the letters look like and freely cut them out of the material being used.
This activity employs a collage technique of cutting letters out of colored paper, fabric, or other 2D materials without drawing or rendering the letters first.
This is a conceptual exercise where the scissors (or cutting tool) function as the pencil.
Sprallage™ is the combination of spray paint elements mixed with collage elements designed to help people feel and understand graffiti lettering as an art form on a modular scale.
It opens the door to understanding graffiti as art and using a name to make art.

Presented by SPRAYFiNGER®, a graffiti arts community dedicated to elevating the art and culture of graffiti through educational programs and collaborations. We believe graffiti is an artistic act of disruption. Disruption of self-limitations, of creative boundaries, of the world around us. And that disruption sets us free. We find freedom in the flow of working with spray paint, in experimenting with color and line making, practicing the art of creative lettering, moving the aesthetics of graffiti into new mediums and contexts, and embracing continuous exploration.
