Park Avenue Pollinator Planting 

Join a naturalist from Nature Enthusiations to help scientists (including you!) learn about monarchs and other local animals and plants. 

  • Help catch monarchs to tag and test for ophryocystis elektroscirrha (OE), a damaging parasitic infection. 
  • Search for, photograph and report the wildlife you find.
  • Discover community science programs you can help with, including:
    • Journey North
    • Monarch Watch
    • Project Monarch Health
    • Bumble Bee Watch
    • iNaturalist
    • eBird
    • and more!

Meet the naturalist anytime during the 90 minute event near the intersection of Park Avenue South and East 92nd Street


This free program is geared towards families and adults. No registration required. Maximum of 20 participants on a first come, first served basis.
