Whether you’re a first-timer or just looking to refresh your birding skills, this walk is the perfect way to get outdoors and connect with nature.
Discover the thrill of spotting local birds in their natural habitat as you learn:
- The basics of using binoculars
- Identifying different species
- Exploring some helpful birding apps and resources
You’ll be amazed at what you can spot when you know where to look. Binoculars are available to borrow. Just bring your curiosity and sense of adventure. All experience levels are welcome—no prior birding knowledge required!
Meet at the Harrison Picnic Ground parking lot at 1 p.m. for an introduction. Walk starts at 1:30 p.m.
