The City and Better Futures Minnesota have partnered to collect bulky reusable and recyclable items at the curb to reduce the number of items that end up in a landfill. Households with City garbage and recycling service can schedule a monthly pickup of reusable and recyclable items.

Items are picked up the first full week of each month on your regular garbage and recycling day. The service is included in the monthly bulky item management fee on the residential Utility Bill, so there is no additional cost.

Pickup must be scheduled by 4 p.m. at least two business days ahead of your regular monthly pickup day by calling 612-353-5400 (weekdays 8 a.m.-5 p.m.) or visiting betterfuturesminnesota.com/curbside-collections.

For a list of items eligible for pickup, visit blm.mn/bulkies.
