Construction for the reimagined Bryant Park, 1001 W. 85th St., began with a groundbreaking in August 2024 and is now well underway. Much of the earthwork (broadband lines, etc.) has been completed and construction fencing and materials now line the park.

The former park shelter building and playground have been removed and work continues on sanitary sewer and water lines. Over the winter, crews will be building the new park shelter and dredging the pond to improve
water quality.

As guided by Bloomington’s Park System Master Plan, future steps include the installation of a fully inclusive playground, the first of its kind
in Bloomington.

The new park is expected to be completed by fall 2025. For more details, visit blm.mn/park-improvements.
