The City of Bloomington is preparing to launch its third year of Bloom in Bloomington, the City’s youth workforce development program. Bloom in Bloomington matches young people ages 16-24 with paid summer internship experiences at employers across Bloomington. The program aims to provide young people with opportunities to explore career paths from a wide variety of employers, build valuable work experience, and develop leadership skills.

More information and applications for the program can be found at blm.mn/bloom. Young people interested in the program can apply now through March 14.

Employers interested in hosting an intern can contact Port Authority Administrator Holly Masek at hmasek@BloomingtonMN.gov.
