Oak Leaves and Acorns

Learn the long history of oak trees around the world and take part in fun activities. 

  • Hike to find different types of oak trees, and gather some oak leaves to decorate with gold, silver or bronze markers. 
  • Make a felt acorn with wool and a real acorn cap. 
  • Hear an original story about an oak tree. 

Meet the naturalist at Picnic Shelter 1 at Moir Park.
