Elections for U.S. Senators and U.S. President are happening this year on November 5. Here’s some basic information to help you cast your ballot. Learn more at blm.mn/vote.
Voting early or by absentee ballot
Absentee and early voting for the general election begin September 20 and close on Election Day, November 5. Find extended Civic Plaza hours for voting at blm.mn/vote. If you have questions or are a voter with special circumstances, contact the City Clerk’s Office at 952-563-8729.
Register to vote
Voters who have moved or changed their names need to reregister. To register before Election Day, visit mnvotes.org by October 18 to submit a registration application. Voters can also register to vote at their polling place on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5. To register, voters need to provide proof of residence. Serve as an election judge
