Outdoor farmers markets coming soon

Ready, set, shop for the freshest food from local farms. The Bloomington Farmers Market is back every Saturday June 8-October 12,  8 a.m.-1 p.m., in the east lot of Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road.

Each week, more than 40 vendors will offer goods at the market, and collectively more than 60 vendors will participate. Along with fresh foods, visitors can also enjoy crafts and other local maker wares, as well as ready-to-eat food and community tables to visit with local nonprofit groups.

The Midweek Music and Market will return every Wednesday, July 10-August 21, 5-8 p.m., in the east lot of Bloomington Civic Plaza with food trucks and music. Read more about the bands performing each week on page 8.
