2024's theme is Stay Alert, Don't Get Hurt: Prevent Electrical Fires
We can’t wait to showcase our six fire stations, state of the art equipment and firefighters! Each station will feature how to stay safe from electrical fires. Kids can win t-shirts, stickers and more. There will also be a photo booth, art station and even a visit from Sparky the Fire Dog.
Visit any of Bloomington's six fire stations, each of which showcase different tools and info used by BFD:
- Station 1, 10 West 95th St.: Fire Extinguisher Training
- Station 2, 10601 Xerxes Ave.: Natural Gas Safety
- Station 3, 2301 East 86th St.: Extrication
- Station 4, 4201 West 84th St.: Lifelink Medevac Helicopter
- Station 5, 10540 Bush Lake Rd.: Jr. Firefighter Course
- Station 6, 8601 Lakeview Rd. S: Plow Truck
