The purpose of this road closure is to facilitate repair of City-owned sanitary sewer as part of 2025-102 PMP Street Maintenance Project

Southbound France Ave south of W Old Shakopee Rd (CSAH 1)
Friday, September 26 - Wednesday, October 1, 2025 (approximately)
Southbound France Ave south of W Old Shakopee Rd will be closed for approximately 5-6 days to facilitate repair of City-owned utility as part of 2025-102 PMP Street Maintenance Project.
A marked detour will be provided.

Southbound Lyndale Ave at W 95th Street
Monday, September 22 - Friday, September 26, 2025 (approximately)
Southbound Lyndale Avenue will be closed at W 95th St to relocate a catchbasin.
A marked detour will be provided.

Portland Ave (Between American Blvd & E 81st St)
Monday, September 22 - Saturday, November 15, 2025 (approximately)
Portland Ave will be closed between American Blvd and E 81st St due to roadway reconstruction and utility work for the I-494 Project (MnDOT).
I-494 bridge over the Minnesota River
Monday, March 10 - late October 2025
MnDOT is doing work on the I-494 bridge over the Minnesota River. The regional trail running parallel to WB I-494 between Pilot Knob Rd. and American Blvd. will be closed for reconstruction.
Upcoming closures
American Boulevard through Portland Ave Intersection (I-494)
Weekend of October 3 at 10pm - October 6 at 5pm
A marked detour will be provided using 12th Avenue, 77th Street (Richfield), and Nicollet Avenue. Business access will be maintained along American Boulevard but NO traffic will be able to get through the intersection at Portland Avenue during this work.
