Notice of Public Hearing: To consider, and possibly adopt, the proposed assessment roll for public improvements

The Bloomington City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, 55431, or via electronic means as permitted by State Law, to consider, and possibly adopt,  the proposed assessment roll for public improvements consisting of common excavation, concrete curb and gutter, grading, base construction, bituminous resurfacing, turf restoration, and landscaping, which have been or will be constructed on the streets described hereafter, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111. Adoption by the council of the proposed assessment may occur at the hearing. The total estimated cost of the improvements is approximately $7.6M.  The total estimated assessments are approximately $1.3M.

To watch or listen to the meeting or to provide testimony:

1. Attend in person

4. Participate remotely during the public comment period or public hearing by dialing 1-415-655-0001 and entering access code TBD and password 101424 # and press *3 to “raise your hand” to speak. 
5. Offer comment in advance of the meeting by leaving a voicemail at 952-563-4695 or emailing councilsecretary@bloomingtonmn.gov no later than 2 p.m. on the meeting date. Include the item number and item name listed on the agenda. Include your name, phone number, and address when leaving a voicemail or email. Please indicate if you also plan to attend in person or call in during the meeting to provide live comment or testimony.
