The City and Bloomington Public Schools’ Early Learning Services have teamed up to host a free and fun educational event for parents and caregivers who are expecting a baby or have infants up to 12 months old.

The baby resource fair will take place on Saturday, May 4, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at Pond Early Learning Center, 9600 3rd Ave. S.

Learn about baby CPR, immunizations, what to look for in a daycare, choosing a pediatrician, recognizing signs of concern and more. There will also be door prize drawings, giveaways and refreshments provided, while supplies last.

One Bloomington parent who attended the fair last year said, “This event is needed but it hasn’t been a common thing. I am so glad Bloomington is making this happen and focusing on young kids.”
