Residents of Bloomington can take advantage of various home energy rebates to make their homes more energy-efficient and comfortable. Improvements like attic and wall insulation, high-efficiency heating systems, storm windows and modern heat pumps can significantly reduce energy bills. Available incentives include rebates from CenterPoint Energy, federal tax credits and low-interest loans from the Center for Energy and Environment. Loans are available through the Bloomington Housing and Redevelopment Authority for income-qualified residents.

To find out what improvements are recommended for your home, visit blm.mn/rebates to find your energy score* or schedule a Home Energy Squad® visit for a detailed evaluation. Ready to make improvements now? Consult a free energy advisor for personalized guidance to determine eligibility, connect with rebate-eligible contractors and navigate the rebate process. Advisors are available via phone at 612-244-2484 or email at energyadvisor@mncee.org.

*Energy scores are available for homes purchased on or after April 1, 2022.
