Join the Human Rights Commission for a special event—Just Deeds & Beyond: The Legacy and Future of Housing Access for All.
The event will feature presentations from a panel of experts and community dialogue on the history of housing in Bloomington, progress in overcoming exclusionary practices and opportunities for the future of housing access for all. This follows the 2021 Just Deeds event in Bloomington that played an important role in educating the community on the history and presence of homes with racial covenants. The City of Bloomington’s Human Rights Commission and Normandale Community College will host this event on Wednesday, March 13, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., at Civic Plaza, 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road. Dinner will be served.
