In honor of June as Black Music Month, The Avant Garde invites you to experience "Black To Life: A Black Music Month Celebration" during the season of Juneteenth. 

This two-day series showcases Minnesota's top artists representing different genres of Black Music from Gospel and R&B to Jazz and Hip-Hop.

Lifetime achievement awards will be given to Twin Cities music legends Pete Rhodes, Kim Rhodes, and Kathleen Johnson.
